Israel’s most prominent academic and research institutions have become the target of a massive cyberattack, with part of the personal data of students, faculty members, and staff publicly leaked.
Who is responsible for this attack?
The Kheybar Army group
This cyber group has claimed responsibility for the attack and announced that this is only the beginning of a series of larger attacks against Israeli institutions .
Some of these universities:
- Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence research and education centers
- Key partners of Israel’s Ministry of Defense and security agencies
- One of the main sources of military technology knowledge
If even a digital security training center is not secure , then where is safe?
